Web design Augusta GA owners can rely on has to do two jobs. For one week in April the city fills with golf fans who need dinner reservations, a shuttle, a dry cleaner or a house with four bedrooms. The rest of the year your customers are nurses at the medical center, soldiers and civilians at Fort Gordon, and families in Evans and Martinez who need a plumber on a Tuesday.
Dominion Web Design Pro is Maurice Johnson. He writes every page by hand, shows you a free demo before you pay, and charges a printed one-time price.
Web design Augusta GA owners can switch on for tournament week
Masters week has its own economy. Homeowners rent out their houses to visiting groups, and the practice is common enough that the federal tax provision letting a homeowner rent a home for up to 14 days a year without reporting the income is widely called the Augusta Rule. The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce runs the Masters Housing Bureau, which matches visiting groups with homes for the week.
For a small business, the week is short and loud. The site that serves your regulars may say nothing a visitor needs. Here is how the same business can talk to both groups.
| Business | What the April visitor needs to see | What the regular customer needs the rest of the year |
|---|---|---|
| Restaurant or caterer | Tournament week hours, whether you take reservations, private dining or group orders | The everyday menu as text, lunch hours, parking |
| House cleaner | Turnover cleaning before and after a rental week, how far ahead to book | Recurring cleaning, move-out cleans, the parts of town you cover |
| Barber or salon | Walk-in hours for visitors, a map from the hotels | Online booking, prices, the stylists and what each one does |
| Car service or detailer | Airport and course runs, how to book a group | Regular detailing, fleet accounts for local companies |
A front page with one notice spot you can change in March and change back after the final round handles most of this. On our hosting plan, we make that change when you ask.
An Army cyber town where buyers read before they call
The Army post outside the city has changed names twice since 2023. It was renamed Fort Eisenhower in October 2023, and in 2025 the Army restored the name Fort Gordon, this time honoring Master Sergeant Gary I. Gordon, who received the Medal of Honor for his actions in Mogadishu in 1993. It is home to U.S. Army Cyber Command, the Cyber Center of Excellence, the Signal Corps and the Georgia Cryptologic Center.
The state added to that in Augusta. The Georgia Cyber Center opened its first building, the Hull McKnight Building, on July 10, 2018, and a second building in January 2019, about 332,000 square feet in all on an Augusta University campus, with a cyber range, classrooms and a business incubator.
Small IT shops, managed service providers, trainers and consultants grow up around a base like that, and so do the firms that serve their staff. Their buyers tend to be careful readers. A site for that kind of company should have:
- A services page that names what you actually do, in words a contracting or IT manager would search for.
- A short about page with real names and a real way to reach a person.
- Nothing that hints at sensitive work, locations or schedules. Less is safer here.
- A fast, plain build with a contact form that goes to an inbox someone watches.
Practices around the medical district

The Medical College of Georgia, the state's only public medical school, trains at Wellstar MCG Health, which took over Augusta University's hospitals in August 2023. The main medical center has 478 beds and the Children's Hospital of Georgia has 154, and in August 2026 Wellstar opened a 100-bed hospital in Grovetown, the first hospital in Columbia County.
Hospitals bring therapists, home health agencies, billing services, child care and apartment managers with them. Those owners need pages that state credentials, insurance accepted and service areas without fluff, so a new resident can choose in one visit.
Broad Street, open for business during the dig
Downtown's main street is torn up. WRDW reported in August 2026 that the Broad Street renovation is not expected to finish until early 2027, and one owner estimated his traffic was down 15 to 20% with parking lost to the work. The Augusta Market cut vendor fees in half for businesses in the construction zone between 5th and 15th streets.
Picture a typical owner there, a gift shop with a side door on a cross street. This is an illustration, not a client. During construction the most useful thing on the site is a short notice at the top: we are open, here is the side entrance, here is the closest place to park this week. It costs nothing to post and saves the customer who would otherwise assume you closed.

Web design Augusta customers find by the name of their side of town
Richmond County had about 206,300 residents in the Census Bureau's 2024 estimate, but the trade area crosses the county line and the river. Google ranks local results by relevance, distance and prominence, so a page that truthfully names the place you serve helps it match a nearby search.
Downtown and Broad Street
Restaurants, shops and nightlife, and right now, the street work above.
Summerville, or the Hill
A historic district of about 730 acres northwest of downtown, on the National Register since 1980, with Walton Way as its main road and a small Augusta University campus at its center.
Evans and Martinez
Unincorporated communities in Columbia County. Martinez borders Augusta, and Evans lies just past it. People search by these names, not by the county.
North Augusta, South Carolina
Across the river by the 13th Street and 5th Street bridges, with Riverside Village and SRP Park, home of the Augusta GreenJackets. One market, two states.
Owners who want a page for each of those places can use Pro, which includes ten city pages, each one researched and written about that place. We do not sell page counts; a handful of honest pages beats dozens of copies with the town name swapped.
Web design in GA beyond Atlanta
Plenty of owners searching for web design in GA assume the help has to come from Atlanta. It does not. To be found in the Augusta area, the site needs Augusta facts, your real service area and a phone number that rings.
